Which course should I take?
- If you work in healthcare, education, law enforcement, construction, hospitality, or any other service industry, you likely need the AHA BLS Provider® course.
- If you are required to take an in-person First Aid course as well as BLS, you likely need the AHA BLS Provider & Heartsaver First Aid® course.
Does the BLS courses include First Aid?
- No, the AHA BLS course does not include First Aid. The Heartsaver First Aid courses, including AHA BLS cover the First Aid component.
How long is the certification valid?
- AHA course completion cards are valid for two years.
What will I learn in the class?
- CPR & AED use for adult, child, & infant, choking relief, and – for First Aid courses – injury/illness response until professional help arrives.
Do I automatically get certified once I finish?
- Upon successful completion of the required skills and knowledge assessment, you will receive a course completion eCard on the same business day.
What is your payment policy?
- Payment is due at registration; seats are reserved upon payment. Refunds are not provided. However, you may reschedule your class date at no additional cost (subject to availability). Call or email us with your request.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
- If you cannot attend the scheduled class, please contact us as soon as possible to select another available date at no additional charge (subject to availability). No refunds will be issued.
Will I receive my AHA card the same day?
- Yes, your training provider will issue your course completion card (or initiate eCard process) the same day.
What if I’m late or miss the start of class?
- If you arrive late (more than 15 minutes) you may be asked to reschedule to ensure you receive the complete training and meet skill requirements.
Do you offer group or onsite training at our workplace?
- Yes — we offer onsite/workplace training for groups. Please email or call for a quote and scheduling.
Will my certification meet employer or regulatory requirements?
- Our courses follow AHA guidelines. However, please confirm with your employer or credentialing/regulatory body that the course is acceptable before enrolling.
